She became famous when she advertised for a Kama Sutra condom campaign which was certified and used to create awareness of AIDS in the minds of the people. Her father is Kabir Bedi and her mother was Protima but a tragedy occurred were she lost her mother in a landslide during her pilgrimage in Himalayas. Her brother who was 26 year old committed suicide.
